I finally got diamond stud earrings. I've wanted them for about a decade now, and now I have them! I love them, and I got a great deal! They are 1.5 carat (combined), and I got them for 70% off. I love bargain shopping. :)
I've been ghetto fabulous for far too long. I'm taking steps to be a real bonafide grown up. This is just one more, very fun, step.

They are almost as bright as your smile. :)
oooooh, me likey! maybe I'll just leave this blog post open on my computer so my husband can stumble upon it and get some good mother's day ideas! I love that there is another holiday that I now qualify for...nice work, you look hottie hot sporting those bad boys!
YAY!
So glad you finally got your diamond earrings, they look fabuous!
OMG...who's your supplier? LOL...I NEED some...every girl needs diamonds. Not that I can justify getting them right now, but I have always wanted a nice pair of diamond studs. If the price is right, I might HAVE to get some. Seriously, will you share where you got such a fab deal? I probably won't indulge but just in case it's too good to pass up, I'm on a need to know basis...really, I NEED TO KNOW...lol
BTW, they do look FABULOUS on you!!
We approach unemployment very differently...lol. Buying diamonds...I love it. How bout a tiara???
Out of all the wonderful, encouraging, positive, inspiring things that you write about... you get the most comments over some diamonds earrings-
LOL
and TJ needs the tiara, not you.
obv.
;-)
Bring it on
I just saw them in real life and they are GORGEOUS! Good for you-you deserve them!!! And Darcy's right-they are!!!!
LOL - yes, hilarious that this post gets more than any others. that is soooo funny.
Kitty - I'm transparent in ALL - LOL: I got them at KOHLS - 70% off. They were 1.5 carats, 2k origianally, and I got them for like $650 - holy cow, right?
A *very* good ROIB (return on investment BLING!!!)
LOL - get them, grrrrrl!!!
Hey if the professional jeweler gives them her stamp of approval, they must be nice!
Can't wait to see these little dazzlers.
;-)
Yikes! Are you kidding me!!!! 650??? That's way way lower than wholesale!!! Maybe we should start buying at Kohl's!
LOL re: buying at Kohl's
Darcy was convinced they marked them wrong.
I think they are just desperate to get rid of their high $$ items because no one is buying that stuff right now, and the longer it's on their shelves, the less profitable the store appears on paper and for investors, etc...
they are better off selling big ticket items at a loss than they are leaving it on the books
and yay for me for getting a fantastic bargain!!
yay is right for you girl friend! I gotta follow you around shopping ;) thanks for the info
