Dubai, here I come!
.
I just booked the flight, and I'm lined up to speak on a topic I've never presented on before. Should be interesting. ;-)
.
I'm actually not worried about speaking on a brand new topic to an international executive audience (for some reason), but I am a bit anxious about the trip in general. I just know hardly anything about Dubai. I've been doing a lot of research the past few hours, but it should be interesting.
.
The flights are 15 and 16 hrs (with fairly quick layovers), and I'm going to be in Dubai for four days...alone...as far as I know. I'm really hoping TJ will decide to join me!!
.
Either way, I know I'll have a great time. I've never traveled outside of the US, other than Canada. I don't know how that happened, but I think it was because I was so big for so long - I just traveled as little as possible. I missed 10 years of travel (and life) from being so limited due to my weight.
.
Now that I can travel with ease, apparently there's no stopping me. I really need a passport. LOL. I found a bunch of reputable companies that can get a passport processed same day if need be, so I will be sure to take care of that tomorrow!
.
I have a presentation I need to create and send to them by tomorrow (yikes), and I'm preparing for my New York trip as well. Things are picking up really fast, and I feel like I need a moment to catch my breath.
.
The sun is out now, so I think I may go hiking or kayaking to clear my busy little head.
