I took the stairs to my office at work today. I counted, and I think there was 100 of them. It wouldn't be so bad, but I had my lap top bag with me, which weighs at least 40 lbs. I have so much stuff in it, and I bring my files with me wherever I go. I had to take a break half way up to catch my breath!
It still wasn't nearly as bad as when I ran up them last week, with no bag at all. I have a feeling if I hadn't had a bag, it wouldn't be too bad. In fact, I'm going to go walk down them now, and walk up them without a bag to see.
BRB.
Okay. I just walked down and then up the 100 stair progression, and I must say, I'm quite winded. LOL. I guess the bag didn't make as much difference as I thought it would. I need to practice on these stairs, because I want to be able to fly up them too!
When I go hiking in the woods near my house, I always go up every steep hill I can find. I want to get that great cardiovascular work out. I need to do more of it though, apparently.
In my defense, I'm still a good 80 lbs overweight! When I finish losing, I'm sure I'll not only be able to fly up 100 stairs, but probably over the rooftops as well! ;-)
For now, please send along the oxygen mask.

The fact that you did 200 stairs is proof that you are in shape... even if you're winded.
Keep it up girl!
Great job! Excercise is a great catayst to position you ina place that an aid in your weight loss. Your journey will be faster and yo will be healthier overall.
FYI, if ic come to visit I m taking the elevator
