The boat's in!

This is the earliest we've ever been able to put the boat in. What a nice surprise! It's sunny out today, and I'm seriously wondering if I have internet service in the middle of the lake. I think I'm going to buy one of those mobile internet cards.

Since I'm traveling more, it may end up being practical. I already pay $25 for internet service at my office, on top of what I pay at the house. I don't know...I'm supposed to be able to connect through my blackberry. I've done it before, but lately that hasn't been working for me. When it has worked, it's on the slow side, but I should probably look into that before buying something else.

Either way, I want to work from cupcake island! :) Is that too much to ask?

Do you remember those commercials from 20 years ago? "Have you ever sent a fax from a beach? You will." Well, they were half right. By the time we had wireless technology that could be used at the beach, fax machines had become dinosaurs, but still, they were right. So if the technology is there, shouldn't we work from a beach if we can?

I certainly think so. ;-)

Either way, I've been working since early AM, and I'm hoping to finish up by mid afternoon so we can go for a boat ride. It's only going to reach the mid 60's today, so it's not exactly swimming weather yet, but that doesn't mean we can't still have a nice picnic.

I'm declaring it: SUMMER IS HERE!!!!
